Originally from the Tampa Bay Area, Jody attended the University of South Florida, majoring in Business Administration. She has a background in residential leasing and marketing working for a high-end, luxury property in Florida.

Jody’s first visit to Nantucket was in the summer of 2006 on a whim, instantly falling in love with the enchantment of the island.

With nearly two decades working in hospitality at 21 Federal and Ventuno, Jody has established a loyal clientele base, cultivating strong relationships among islanders and visitors alike.

Jody spent many winters working in upscale hospitality in Aspen and Vail, and living abroad in Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and the Caribbean, always returning back to Nantucket after every sojourn.

In 2018 she received her NY Real Estate License joining the family firm A.D. Preusser Real Estate established in 1914.

Jody met her husband, JP, on Nantucket and they were married at the Nantucket Golf Club in 2016. Jody’s husband, JP, is well known at the Nantucket Golf Club as The Director of Outside Operations.

Jody enjoys walking the pristine beaches of Nantucket with her mini Australian Shepherd, Rex, and can often be found walking Rex through the village of ‘Sconset where they call home on the island.
