Hal grew up in Lawrence , Long Island and first came to Nantucket back in the summer of 1972.

Hal came back to Nantucket in 1981 after graduating from Hartwick College. Nantucket has been home since then.

Hal has two sons, Tyler and Sam, three grandchildren Ty, Hazel, and Halle, who also live on Nantucket. Hal has been a real estate agent on Nantucket for 30 years. When not working in real estate, Hal is also a fishing guide out in Madaket Nantucketfishing.com. Hal is an avid golfer and enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends.
