Any Nantucket veteran knows that September on Nantucket is one of the best months to be here. Things slow down but the summer weather sticks around. As kids return to school the island quiets down and so do the events. September doesn’t have lots going on but what it does packs a punch!
September 4th – September 6th – Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day Weekend has been deemed the last weekend of the summer. With kids returning to school, be sure to get one last weekend enjoying all the island has to offer and hold onto summer just a little bit longer!
Scalloper’s Ball
The Nantucket Shellfish Association’s fundraising event of the season is the annual Scalloper’s Ball. Hosted at the Nantucket Yacht Club, we gather together to enjoy a night of shellfish, dancing, and a live auction. Visit their website to learn more and to score some tickets!
