Something Natural

Something Natural up on Cliff Road has some of the best sandwiches on the island and are iconic among visitors and locals alike! Head up to the Cliff to get your cooler packed for the day. They offer a wide range of sandwich options all on their homemade bread. They also have some of the best chocolate chip cookies on the island so don’t skimp there! They are open and taking order over the phone and online, so be sure to plan ahead. You can order online here.
Fresh Nantucket

The party never stops on Salem Street! Head to the Tomato Shack for everything you need for an epic beach picnic. Fresh Nantucket has smoothies, Acai bowls, sandwiches, salads, as well as desserts, beer, wine, and booze — nothing is left off the list! They also have online ordering for those who plan ahead.
Born & Bread Bakery

If the smell of freshly baked bread isn’t enough to get you in the door, I don’t know what is! Born & Bread Bakery is located at the top of Centre Street just around the corner from the Jared Coffin House. They have a wide array of sandwich options that you can get cold or as a panini! They also have bread baked fresh daily as well as cakes and other assorted pastries. They offer online ordering, so place your order and your goodies will be ready for pick up when you get into town!
45 Surfside

If you’re heading to a south shore beach, 45 Surfside is a great place to stop to fill up your cooler! 45 Surfside has sandwiches, salads and wraps to name a few. Lee Real Estate’s Jeanne Hicks has named 45 Surfside the best BLT on the island, so now you have to try it! You can stop in the cafe to order, call or place an order online!
Henry Jr’s
125 Orange Street | Website
The little brother to Something Natural is Henry Jr’s. Located just out of town on Orange Street is a great place to grab a sandwich without having to brave the crowds of downtown Nantucket on a summer day. They are open every day and have a great selection of sandwiches so you can have a full day at the beach with a packed cooler! Check out their website for a menu and give them a call to place your order, or visit their shop near Hatch’s on Orange Street.
