Looking for fun ways to get your feet wet while on the island? From fishing and sailing to surf lessons and harbor cruises, there is truly something for everyone on Nantucket. Here are some of our favorite ways to explore the waters with endless fun!
Nantucket Fishing Charters
From June through mid October, Nantucket waters offer world class fishing and an opportunity to explore with Nantucket Fishing Charters. From various methods to fish types targeted, Captain Hal Herrick will guide you through everything you need to know to have a successful and enjoyable outing.
An island resident since 1980, and a Lee Real Estate agent himself, Hal has been fishing these waters since the moment he arrived on Nantucket. Through years of experience, he has managed to make quite a name for himself, even catching a jaw-dropping tuna weighing in at 965 pounds! Being as passionate as he is skilled, Hal began teaching his sons, Tyler and Sam, to fish at an early age. This teaching led to a deep appreciation from Sam, who eventually joined Hal in 2013 to help support the ever growing business. Since 1996, Nantucket Fishing Charters has been providing outstanding service to those looking to explore Nantucket waters and ocean ecosystems.
As temperatures start to drop and beach days sound less appealing, consider catching tuna or albacore on an expert-led charter, resulting in lasting memories and epic photos!
