With Labor Day Weekend in our rear view, our attention has turned to our favorite fall ACKtivities on the island. Nantucket has great fishing all year long, but the fall fishing has been off the charts in recent years. The fish are here and are biting! So get out on the water or hit the beach to cast a line or two and come back to us with your latest fishing report. If you need a little more motivation, the In-Shore Classic kicked off on Sunday and will run for the next 5 weeks.
The In-Shore Classic is a great excuse to spend some time with a rod in hand. The tournament has both a beach and boat category and is an individual angler tournament for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, and False Albacore with All Tackle, Fly, and Junior Divisions. Hal and Sam Herrick are usually found on the leaderboard for this tournament so keep your eyes peeled!
