A week off from school might mean that the youngesters in your life need to let out some excess energy. Maria Mitchell Kids Programs
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 1:30pm to 3pm
Just because the kiddos aren’t in school doesn’t mean that the learning has to stop! The Maria Mitchell Association has put together a school vacation week program of family friendly activities. On Monday, enjoy some science art projects at Crafty Science! Use sunlight to make prints, see what happens when you mix salt with watercolors and more. On Tuesday, we learn that it is never too cold for ice cream. Head over to learn about the chemistry of ice and salt to create ice cream. Thursday, it’s robot time. Learn how robots are used in the science field every day and then have the opportunity to build your own! To cap off the week, put your animal detective hats on because animal tracking is on the schedule. For more information about all of these great programs, click here to visit their website.
